Antimatter

Antimatter will be gracing De Casino in Sint Niklaas on January 18, 2025, commemorating 25 years of musical journey. At the end of the previous millennium, Duncan Patterson, former bassist of Anathema, joined forces with Michael Moss to delve into the realm of ethereal ambient alternative rock. Their collaboration birthed Antimatter, evolving through the years. With the departure of Patterson after their third album, ‘Planetary Confinement’ in 2005, Moss steered towards a sound adorned with electric guitars in subsequent releases. ‘Fear of a Unique Identity’ (2012) seamlessly merged sonic essences from their earlier works. While their music resonates with dark melancholy, Mick's velvety vocals offer solace to the soul. Highly recommended, especially for devotees of Anathema.
